1.1 Epic Games Account Information
SimpplGames uses Epic Online Services (EOS) to provide online and multiplayer features. During this process, the game may request or use Epic Games account permissions solely for service authentication and operation.
1.2 Gameplay Data and Device Settings
The following gameplay-related data is collected and stored in association with your Epic Games Product User ID (PUID):
- Player level, experience points, in-game currency, and items
- Customized character appearance and cosmetic settings
- Gameplay records (wins/losses, kill/death statistics, achievements)
- Game settings, progress, and save states
- System language information (Culture/Locale): Used only to display in-game text in your preferred language. This does not include precise location or address data.
- Anti-cheat and security logs: Game logs used to detect cheating, hacking, or abnormal gameplay behavior.
1.3 Third-Party Platform Integration (Steam / Stove)
Survival of Runt is launched through Steam or Stove and uses Epic Online Services (EOS) for account linking and authentication.
- Third-Party Platform Identifier (Steam ID / Stove ID): When you launch the game via Steam or Stove, the platform-provided identifier is temporarily used solely for authentication and account linking with EOS. This information is not stored on our servers and is immediately discarded after authentication is completed.
1.4 In-Game Screenshots (Bug Reports)
Screenshots are collected only when you voluntarily submit them through the in-game bug reporting feature. Screenshots are not collected automatically without your consent.
1.5 AI (LLM) Features and Data Handling
Survival of Runt may provide AI-powered features using Large Language Models (LLMs), such as interactions with in-game NPCs.
- Local Storage: Text or voice input provided for AI interactions is processed to generate responses. This data is not stored on SimpplGames servers and may be saved only on the user’s local device (PC). Users may delete this data at any time. SimpplGames does not access, collect, or retain such locally stored data.
2. Purpose of Use
Collected data is used strictly for the following purposes:
- Service authentication and gameplay data management
- Providing AI-based NPC interactions
- Bug investigation and technical support
- Localization based on system language settings
- Cheating, hacking, and abuse prevention
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
SimpplGames does not share or disclose your PUID or gameplay data to third parties, except where required by applicable laws or lawful government requests.
4. Data Retention and Deletion Requests
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Service.
- PUID and gameplay data are stored for the duration of the Service.
- Deletion Requests: If you wish to permanently delete your PUID and associated gameplay data, please contact us via email at contact@simpplegames.co.kr.
- Deletion requests will be processed without delay and within a maximum of 7 days.
5. Anti-Cheating and Enforcement Policy
SimpplGames enforces a strict Zero Tolerance Policy against cheating, hacking, and unfair gameplay behavior.
5.1 Definition of Cheating
- Use of unauthorized software (aimbots, wallhacks, speed hacks, etc.)
- Intentional exploitation of bugs or system vulnerabilities
- Tampering with game clients, servers, or memory data
5.2 Enforcement Actions
- First Violation: Permanent ban with no possibility of recovery
- Accounts penalized for cheating forfeit all associated gameplay data and progression.
5.3 Appeals Process
- Users may submit an appeal if they believe enforcement was applied incorrectly.
- Appeals are accepted only via email and must include relevant account details.
- Appeals must be submitted within 90 days of the enforcement notice.
- Appeals are reviewed based on internal logs and operational policies.
6. Data Security
SimpplGames implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect collected data.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. External Links
SimpplGames is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites linked through the Service.
